This starts a series of pictures from my weekend trip to New York. I was only there for three days but am going to post more than three pictures. This was taken while descending the escalator leaving the Lion King show.
I think the zoom on my Canon works pretty well. We were sitting in the last row of the bottom section and this face-off was on the other side of the ice.
I recently bought a Canon SX110IS point and shoot to take to sporting events, concerts, etc. It has a great 10x optical zoom and takes pretty sharp pictures. The best part is I only paid $199 for it.
I was showing Craig the difference between straight flash and diffused flash. I ended up really liking this picture of him. In case you are wondering, this is the diffused flash. It almost always wins.
